Luppy’s World
Luppy is waiting just beyond the words.
Shall we take a moment to listen to what your child may be trying to say?
Three little questions for grown-ups

A parent-child emotional exploration series

Luppy's World

小小元辰宮™ · for the world beyond Taiwan

Helping children put their feelings into words — and helping you hear what so often goes unsaid.

Every child carries a whole world inside them, waiting to be understood.

Luppy's World Children's Emotional Exploration Cards: the box
It's not that children don't want to talk.
Sometimes, they simply don't know how.

When a child says, "I don't know" or "I'm fine",
or responds with tears, anger or silence,
they may be feeling something they do not yet know how to name.

What they need is not always another question.
Sometimes, they simply need a gentler way to begin.
More than a deck of cards

Luppy's World is a gentle way
to explore feelings together.

The cards are only the beginning.
The wider series also includes a dedicated members' website,
two companion books and monthly letters from Luppy™.

Children do not open up on demand,
and no single activity works for every child or every day.
That is why Luppy's World offers several gentle ways to begin —
allowing connection to grow at a pace that feels right for your child.

Not a psychological test

There are no scores, no diagnoses and no right answers. It simply helps a child notice what they feel, and find a way to say it.

Not a fortune-telling tool

It has nothing to do with predicting the future. It is about being with how a child feels, right now.

Not a label for your child

Your job is not to work your child out or explain them. It is simply to stay close, listen, and stay curious.

What matters most is not which card a child chooses.
It is what they gradually feel safe enough to share.
Why it matters

One conversation is rarely enough.
Children open up when they have a safe place to come back to, again and again.

A child needs more than one meaningful conversation or a single moment of understanding.
They need different, pressure-free ways to express themselves — in their own time and in their own way.
Luppy's World was created to make room for those moments to keep happening.

How to support your child
Don't rush to find an answer.
Begin by looking together.
With Luppy's World, there is no need to analyse, interpret or correct anything straight away.
Simply invite your child to look at the card and begin with one gentle question.
Why did this card stand out to you?
What does it remind you of?
If this card could speak, what would it say?
Does anything here feel a little like your mood today?
Your child may respond — or they may not be ready yet.
Giving them the freedom to open up at their own pace is a form of care in itself.

The creator

Why I made Luppy's World

The more time I spent learning how children make sense of their feelings, the more I saw the same thing, again and again:
children are never short of feelings. They just haven't always found a way to share them that feels safe.

Some children find the words easily.
Others need pictures, stories, characters or play
before their inner world starts to open.

That is why I made Luppy's World.
I didn't want a deck that asks a child for answers.
I wanted a gentle doorway — something that lets a child feel safe, stay curious, and share in their own time.
What matters most is not the card a child picks.
It is whether we are willing to stop, and really listen.

Our philosophy
Every child shines
in their own way.
No two children grow in exactly the same way,
and no two children express themselves in exactly the same way.

Through Luppy's World, we hope more children feel seen and understood —
and that the adults who care for them can come a little closer
to the unique inner world each child carries.

FAQ
Is this a psychological test?

No. There are no scores, diagnoses or right answers. Luppy's World is simply here to help children recognise and express what they feel, and to make those first conversations easier to start.

Can it replace therapy or professional psychological care?

No. It is not a medical, diagnostic or therapeutic tool, and it does not replace a psychologist, doctor or other qualified professional. If you are ever worried about your child, please speak to one.

Does my child have to answer the questions?

No. A child chooses whether to share, when they feel ready, and how much they want to say.

What age group is it designed for?

It is made mainly for children and teenagers aged 3 to 16, and everything can be adapted to a child's age, understanding and whatever they are going through.

Can teachers and other professionals who work with children use it?

Yes. It works well as a gentle tool for conversation and connection, adapted to your role and setting.

Does the website show every card?

No. The website shares the thinking behind it, how it all works, and a few sample cards. The full deck is meant to be discovered when you open the box.
